The OORC has been instrumental in the development of trail systems at Lake Fayetteville, Mt. Sequoyah, Kessler Mountain Regional Park, Lake Leatherwood Park in Eureka Springs, Devil's Den State Park, Hobbs State Park, Lake Wedington Recreational Area, The Upper Buffalo, Lincoln Lake, the Runway Bike Park, the Great Passion Play, Gregory Park, City Lake in Siloam Springs and numerous other projects. We are committed to developing sustainable trails to support multiple user groups including hikers, mountain bikers, and trail runners while identifying appropriate opportunities for mountain bike progression.

Accomplished preserving Mt. Kessler by partnering with Mt. Kessler Greenways and Fayetteville Natural Heritage Association bringing awareness to the community about unmatched beauty and need to preserve Kessler mountain.

Phase 1 Construction at Siloam Springs City Lake

Awarded private and public funding to oversee Phase 1 construction of multiuse trail and additional recreational amenities at Siloam Springs City Lake

Construction Gregory Park in Fayetteville

Awarded grant from the Walton Family Foundation to oversee the creation of cycling optimized flow lines, a skills park, and pump track at Gregory Park in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Fostered 1100 volunteer hours towards the construction of a new multi-use loop for hikers, bikers, trail runners, and dog walkers.

Awarded private and public funding to oversee the construction of a bicycle playground and skills course in Huntsville, Arkansas

Purchase of 40-acres Adjacent to Mt. Kessler

Awarded grant to secure the purchase of 40-acres of property adjacent to Mt. Kessler. The purchase preserves open-space and existing trail, while creating future opportunities for access to additional communities.

Consulted for The Great Passion Play on 600+ acre trail masterplan, working with their leadership to secure funding for multi-phase trail development in Carroll County, Arkansas.

Served as lead consultant on concept, planning, and construction of the Runway Bike Park at the Jones Center in Springdale, Arkansas.

In partnership with the Pea Ridge ISD and the Arkansas NICA League, successfully fostered volunteer efforts to construct โ€œThe Groveโ€ trail system on public school property in Pea Ridge, Arkansas.

Phase 2 Development at Siloam Springs City Lake

Awarded private and public funding to oversee Phase 2 development at Siloam Springs City lake including the regions first โ€œCanopyโ€ boardwalk and a bicycle skills park and asphalt pump track for the communities of Western Benton County.

Consulted for the City of Alma

Consulted for the City of Alma, raising private funding to master plan 450+ acres of public park property at Lake Alma in Alma, Arkansas. City leadership unanimously approved master plan and volunteer construction began in 2019.

Development of Colley Park in Van Buren, AR

Awarded private and public funding to oversee development of Colley Park in Van Buren, Arkansas. Once complete, the park will include multiuse and cycling optimized soft-surface trails โ€“ a first for the Van Buren community.

Nominated as a finalist for the Arkansas State Tourism 2019 Henry Award for โ€˜Outstanding Volunteer Serviceโ€™, presented to a community, individual or organization that through outstanding volunteer spirit has made a substantial contribution to Arkansasโ€™ tourism industry.

The Kessler Campaign

Launched the Kessler Campaign โ€“ a community supported trail project to raise $125,000 towards future trail development on Kessler Mountain in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
